Prof Hassan starts duties as UiTM v-c
February 16, 2016 | National NewsEMERITUS Prof Datuk Dr Hassan Said has started his duties as vice-chancellor of Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) from Feb 1.
He takes over from Prof Tan Sri Dr Sahol Hamid Abu Bakar whose term ended last December.
Prof Hassan previously served as Taylor’s University vice-chancellor and president as well as the Higher Education Department director-general.
Prof Hassan started his career as a Mathematics lecturer at Universiti Sains Malaysia in 1984.
