First City University College Celebrates 2025 Graduation Ceremony on 27 July 2025

Bandar Utama, PJ, 27 July 2025 – First City University College (FCUC) celebrated its 2025 Graduation Ceremony today at One World Hotel, Bandar Utama, marking a significant milestone for its graduating class. This year, 214 students successfully completed their studies across various disciplines.

In her opening address, Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Saw Sor Heoh congratulated the graduates and reminded them of their vital role in shaping the future of their industries. She also encouraged them to carry forward the values of resilience, innovation, and integrity as they embark on their professional journeys.

Many graduates achieved outstanding academic results, with a good number earning First Class Honours. A highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of the Industry Excellence Awards to four exceptional graduates, in recognition of their academic achievements, project performance, internship experiences, and active engagement with industry-related events. This year’s recipients are:

• Tong Kar Chun – BSc (Hons) Accounting and Finance
• Man Yuet Thung – BA (Hons) Interior Architecture and Design
• Lee Zhi Guan – Bachelor of Information Systems (Hons) in Business Management
• Cornileus Jasper Patrick – Bachelor of Software Engineering (Hons)

The graduation ceremony was a moment of pride and celebration for both the graduates and their families, as students prepare to contribute meaningfully to their respective professions.

This year also marks First City University College’s 35th anniversary, a testament to its long-standing commitment to educational excellence and industry-relevant learning.
