Course Overview

The Master in Science in Medical Physiology programme in AIMST University is designed to enable graduates to acquire and demonstrate

• Acceptable level of understanding of the structure and functioning of the human body,
• Aptitude for research in a field related to the discipline of medical physiology,
• Aptitude to teach physiology to undergraduate students in the profession
• For pursuing evidence-based physiology education,
• HIgh standards of professional conducts and
• Aptitude for continuous professional development.

Curriculum

Entry Requirements

1. A Bachelor’s degree with minimum CGPA of 2.75 or equivalent, as accepted by the HEP Senate; or
2. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with minimum CGPA of 2.50 and not meeting CGPA of 2.75, can be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment ; or
3. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent not meeting CGPA of 2.50, can be accepted subject to a minimum of 5 years working experience in relevant field.

All applicants are expected to have a reasonable command of English Language:

• TOEFL score 550
• IELTS band 6
• MUET band 4 or equivalent

Applicant who do not meet sufficient level of English Language may be required to attend and pass an English Language course conducted by the University prior to being admitted into the postgraduate programme.
