Course Overview

This programme provides a solid foundation in management theory and practice for students aiming for careers in business and administration. It trains students to critically analyse management issues and prepares them for a wide range of professional business roles.

Recognised by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) and supported by an Industry Advisory Board ensuring industry-relevant curriculum. Students have won numerous national and regional competitions.

• Year 2:
  • Business Finance, HR Management, Organisational Behaviour
  • E-Business, Business Research, Business Analytics
  • Electives: e.g. Financial Accounting 2, Malaysian Economy, others
• Year 3:
  • Managing People across Cultures, Operations Management
  • Corporate Policy & Strategy, Strategic International Business
  • Business Ethics, Critical Issues in Management
  • Graduation Project, Internship
  • Elective: e.g. Development Economics or Change Management
• MPU Subjects:
  • Ethics/Civilisation, Careers in Malaysia, Co-curriculum
• Assessment:
  • Continuous Assessment – 40%, Final Assessment – 60%

Entry Requirements

• A pass in STPM with at least Grade C (GP 2.0) in any TWO subjects
• A pass in STAM with at least Grade Jayyid
• Matriculation or Foundation with at least CGPA of 2.00
• A Diploma (Level 4, MQF) or Advanced Diploma (Level 5, MQF) with CGPA of at least 2.00
• DKM/DVM/DLKM with Senate/Board approval
• Other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government (e.g. A-Levels, UEC, CPU, AUSMAT)
• SPM pass in Mathematics and English or equivalent (waivable with equivalent/higher qualifications)
• International Students: IELTS 5.5 or equivalent

HELP University has strong partnerships with many international universities. Our links extend to universities in Australia, UK, Ireland and New Zealand. Our bachelor’s degree students have the flexibility to plan for a 1+2 or 2+1 arrangements with many high-ranking universities that have collaborations with HELP University while our diploma students can plan for a 2+2 or 2+1 1?2 or even a 2+ 1?2+ 1 or 2+1+1 arrangements.
