Course Overview

The Diploma in Early Childhood Education (DECE) at HELP University equips students with the personal and professional identity to become effective educator-carers in early childhood settings. The programme includes hands-on practicum, fieldwork, and a strong emphasis on social, psychological, and creative development of the child. Students gain practical skills in teaching, curriculum development, arts, music, and entrepreneurship.

Entry Requirements

• SPM / SPMV / MCE with at least 3 credits
• Other equivalent qualification as approved by MQA
• SPM/MCE with 2 credits and 3 years teaching experience
• SPM/MCE with 1 credit and 5 years teaching experience
• APEL Route: Qualifying test on BM, English and Mathematics
• Mature senior candidates with acceptable ECCE qualification who fulfil minimum requirements may apply for advanced standing
