Course Overview

Our Diploma in Healthcare Management is a 3-year program in healthcare and hospital administration specially designed to equip students with relevant and strong hospital administration, business skills, and healthcare knowledge to manage hospitals and other healthcare organizations. It trains students to help ensure that their healthcare organizations are medically, financially, and operationally capable of serving the needs of patients. The skills taught for healthcare management include customer service and feedback management, staff administration, service quality assurance, as well as related business courses, interpersonal skills, and leadership. Students will gain invaluable experience during their internship for a Diploma in Healthcare Management at KPJ Corporate Headquarters or our network of 28 KPJ Specialist Hospitals.

Entry Requirements

Malaysian students

Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or its equivalent with PASS in Bahasa Malaysia and English and 3 credits in the following subjects;

• Mathematics or any ONE of science subject (Biology/Physics/Chemistry/General Science);
• Any Two other subjects (including Bahasa Malaysia and/or English provided credit is attained)

General Certificate of Education (GCE)/ O Level or equivalent with PASS in Bahasa Malaysia or English and with 3 credits (Grade C) in the following subjects:

• Mathematics or any ONE of science subject (Biology/Physics/Chemistry/General Science); and
• Any TWO other subjects (including Bahasa Malaysia and/or English provided credit is attained)

Certificate related to Health Sciences (Level 3, Malaysia Qualifications Framework, MQF) with minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) 2.50
