Diploma in Pharmacy is offered at two of our campuses: KPJU in Nilai and KPJIC in Penang. This pharmacy program aims to produce qualified Pharmacy Assistants (PA) equipped with relevant knowledge and skills as well as practical experience. Throughout the 3 years of study, students will undergo several modules, categorized as Basic Science Subjects (Integrated Mathematics & Statistics, Human Anatomy & Physiology, Microbiology, etc.), Pharmacy Core Subjects (Pharmacology, Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Hospital Pharmacy, etc.), and Compulsory Subjects such as English for Professional Communication and Mata Pelajaran Umum (MPU).
Students will undergo practical training at any KPJ Specialist Hospitals in semester 3 and semester 6 to gain much-needed, hands-on, real-life clinical and pharmacy practice experience. Upon completion of the study, students shall be ready to work in pharmacy departments of public and private hospitals or clinics, retail pharmacy outlets, and manufacturing companies. For those who are more ambitious and qualified may proceed with our Bachelor of Pharmacy to become a Licensed Pharmacist or Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Science. As graduates of KPJU and KPJIC, you will have more advantage to be employed by KPJ Healthcare Group of Specialist Hospitals all over Malaysia.

They can serve as pharmacy assistants in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, clinics, retail pharmacies, and community health centers. Alternatively, opportunities await in the pharmaceutical industry, encompassing roles in manufacturing, process control, quality control, and marketing within pharmaceutical companies. For those inclined towards education, potential positions include tutors, pharmacy instructors, and lab assistants at relevant pharmacy schools or institutes.
