Mechanical Engineers play an important role in the future development of a sustainable environment. The Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (Hons) is a 4-year programme, designed in consultation with experts and approved by the Engineering Accreditation Council Malaysia (EAC) and Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA).
The program includes industrial training in Semester 6, where students gain real work experience. In the final year, students undertake six elective modules focusing on industry applications and complete two thesis projects that develop research and practical skills.
The program prepares students with advanced theoretical and practical skills while developing critical thinking, analysis, and teamwork abilities essential for mechanical engineering careers.

Year 1: Engineering Mathematics, Materials Science, Engineering Drawing, C Programming
Year 2: Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Computer Aided Design, Solid Mechanics
Year 3: Control Engineering, Mechanical Design, Industrial Training (8 weeks)
Year 4: Thesis Projects, Vibrations, Heat Transfer, Technical Electives (Robotics, Green Manufacturing, Refrigeration, etc.)
