Course Overview

Master in Engineering by Research programme is designed to prepare individuals for the generation of new knowledge in the advanced and applied aspects of Engineering Research by considering IR4.0, sustainability and green technology. The programme has the objective of training its candidates through intensive research. Graduates will demonstrate a capacity to design, conduct and report sustained and original research with emphasis on current industry demands. While the research is conducted under the supervision of an eligible academic advisor, students are expected to demonstrate the ability to work independently.

• Students need to present their yearly research progress

Entry Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's Degree in the field or related field with minimum CGPA 2.75 or equivalent.
• Conditional Acceptance: Bachelor's Degree with CGPA 2.50 (below 2.75) accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment.
• Working Experience Pathway: Bachelor's Degree with CGPA below 2.50 (minimum 5 years working experience in related field) accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment.
• Others: Other equivalent qualifications approved by the Government of Malaysia.
• English Requirement: IELTS: 5.0 | TOEFL PBT: 500 | MUET: Band 4
