Course Overview

This Diploma in Information Technology (IT) programme focuses on technology and programming as the core base of application development for companies as well as creating a better protection for the company’s ICT system.

Students of diploma in IT will go through a project to simulate a real work project and will undergo industrial training for a better understanding of the IT industry.

As a Diploma in Information Technology graduate, you will not only gain a thorough understanding of the fundamentals of IT, but you will also be provided with a solid theoretical background that is essential for a successful career in IT.

Entry Requirements

1Pass in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or its equivalent with a minimum 3 credits including Mathematics; OR
2Pass in Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with a minimum Grade B in 3 subjects including Mathematics; OR
3Pass in Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) Level 3 KKM in a related field and credit in Mathematics in SPM; OR
4Pass in Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM) or its equivalent with a minimum of Grade C (CGPA 2.00) in one subject and credit in Mathematics in SPM; OR
5Other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Government of Malaysia.

* For Diploma and Advanced Diploma, International Students must score 4.0 for International English Languages Test System (IELTS) or equivalent.

* Candidates without a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent may be admitted if the certificate programme contains subjects in Mathematics that are equivalent to Mathematics at SPM Level.

* Candidate with a credit in related computing subject at SPM Level or its equivalent may be given preferential consideration.
