Course Overview

This programme offers a multidisciplinary curriculum in medical and health sciences, combining theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience in human health, diseases, and public health. Students develop skills in biomedical science, clinical training, and research through diverse modules and industry internships.

Entry Requirements

• STPM/Matriculation/Pre-University/Equivalent: GPA 2.33 in two of the following subjects: Biology, Physics/Mathematics, Chemistry; MUET Band 3 or IELTS 5.5/TOEFL 550 for foreign candidates.
• A-Level or Equivalent: Grade D in two of the following subjects: Biology, Physics/Mathematics, Chemistry; MUET Band 3 or IELTS 5.5/TOEFL 550 for foreign candidates.
• Diploma (related field): Minimum CGPA 2.75; CGPA below 2.75 must have at least 3 years of working experience in related field; MUET Band 3 or IELTS 5.5/TOEFL 550 for foreign candidates.

• Pharmaceutical companies as Regulatory Affair Officer, QA Officer, Product Specialist
• Medical product companies
• Healthcare services as Trainers or Supervisors
• NGOs as Programme Coordinators or Officers
• Insurance industry as Medical Claim Officers or Underwriters
• Other roles include Administrative Officer, Phlebotomist

Study Abroad Pathway

The duration of the study for this program is 3 years and at the end of the program student will have internship in various health care setting or relevant industries depending on the interest of the students and their future planning. Student can have internship in local or international.

Candidates with diploma (relevant field) entry they can apply for credit exemption but it subjects to requirements and university approval.
