Course Overview

This programme trains students to investigate digital crimes and conduct forensic analysis on computers and networks. Emphasis is placed on understanding cyber threats, electronic fraud, and criminal use of digital systems. With strong technical grounding and exposure to security tools and platforms, graduates are well-prepared for roles in cyber security and digital forensics.

Entry Requirements

• i. Pass in SPM with at least credit in any 3 subjects including Mathematics or equivalent; OR
• ii. Pass in STPM with a minimum Grade C (GP 2.0) in any subject and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or equivalent; OR
• iii. Pass in STAM with a minimum grade of Maqbul (pass) and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or equivalent; OR
• iv. Pass in SKM Level 3 and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or equivalent; OR
• v. Pass in any equivalent Certificate (Level 3, MQF) qualification and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or equivalent.

Candidates without a credit in Mathematics at SPM level may be admitted if their Certificate programme includes equivalent mathematics. Candidates with a credit in a computing-related subject at SPM level or equivalent may be given preference.
