Course Overview

The Bachelor in Nutrition (Honours) at MSU prepares students to address the rising prevalence of non-communicable diseases and promote public health through nutrition. The programme focuses on developing competencies in clinical and community nutrition, with opportunities for industrial experience and global exposure through internships. Graduates are prepared to become registered nutritionists and contribute to fields such as healthcare, wellness, sports nutrition, and corporate nutrition.

Achievement

Graduates can immediately apply as Registered Nutritionists with the Malaysian Allied Health Professional Council.

Entry Requirements

  • Pass STPM/Matriculation/A-Level/Pre-University or equivalent with at least a C (2.50 CGPA) in Biology/Physics and Chemistry, and a credit in SPM with five (5) subjects, including Biology, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, and English; OR
  • Diploma in a related field with at least a 2.75 CGPA, accompanied by at least three (3) years of relevant work experience if CGPA is below 2.75; OR
  • Other equivalent qualifications recognized by the Malaysian Government.
  • International students: IELTS with at least 6.00, TOEFL 550, or equivalent English proficiency test scores.
