Course Overview

The Bachelor in Psychology programme at MSU is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of human behavior, supporting people and applying scientific concepts. Students can benefit from international exposure through the Global Mobility Programme (GMP) and the Global Internship Programme (GIP), enriching their academic and social competencies. The curriculum covers various areas including social, abnormal, developmental psychology, and counseling techniques.

Entry Requirements

• Matriculation or Foundation or its equivalent with a minimum CGPA 2.00 out of 4.00;
• OR STPM or its equivalent with a minimum of 2 full passes with GP 2.00;
• OR A Diploma or its equivalent with minimum CGPA 2.00 out of 4.00;
• (Note: All the above qualifications need to be supported with at least credits in Mathematics and Science and a pass in English at SPM level);
• OR A Diploma in Psychology with minimum CGPA 2.00 out of 4.00;
• OR Any other qualification recognized as equivalent by the Government of Malaysia.

Career Prospects

Graduates of the Bachelor in Psychology (Honours) can pursue careers as Rehabilitation Specialists, Educational Psychologists, Career Consultants, or Counselling Psychologists.
