Course Overview

Interior design is all about creating functional spaces in residential, commercial buildings, and gallery. The interior design diploma programme at Management and Science University (MSU) will prepare you to be an interior designer. For those who have an eye for colour and a feel for space organisation and design, this programme will further enhance your natural abilities. Our specially designed and innovative learning experiences will steer you to a successful career in interior design. An industrial stint at the end of your studies will provide you with a deep understanding of the design industry whilst cultivating your communicative and entrepreneurial skills.

  • Furniture Design
  • Design Studio 1: Interior Design Residential
  • Presentation and Architectural Drawing
  • 2D Computer Aided Design
• Year Two:
  • Design Studio 3: Gallery / Transportation Exhibition
  • Drawing 2: Drawing and Measurement
  • Industrial Training
• Year Three:
  • Professional Practice
  • Final Design Project

Entry Requirements

• SPM/SPMV: Three (3) Credits and a Pass in Art Education or Engineering Drawing
• UEC: Three (3) B’s
• IKM Certificate (MQF Level 3): 2.00 CGPA
• SKM (MQF Level 3) in a related field: One (1) SPM Credit
• Community College Certificate (MQF Level 3) in a related field: 2.00 CGPA
• Other MQF-Level-3 Certificates from Polytechnic or other recognised providers: 2.00 CGPA
• Other qualifications recognised as equivalent by MSU Senate or the Government of Malaysia.
