Course Overview

The HELP Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) is designed for professionals seeking to enhance personal, professional, and organisational development. Delivered through taught modules, seminars, and research supervision, the DBA offers both academic rigour and practical relevance. Students will gain the ability to integrate and apply theoretical frameworks and innovative solutions to real-world business challenges, and communicate their research effectively to diverse audiences.

• Phase I – Learning Modules (10 units):
  • Case and Research Methodology A
  • Case and Research Methodology B
  • Emerging Issues in Organisational Behaviour and Human Resources Management
  • Emerging Issues in Economics
  • Optimizing Operations and Supply Chain Management
  • Emerging Issues in Marketing Management and Research
  • Managing Risks in International Environment
  • Emerging Issues in Financial Decision Making
  • Strategic Opportunities and Decision Making
  • Emerging Issues in Corporate Governance and Accountability
• Phase II – Dissertation:
  • Minimum word count: 60,000 words
  • Includes proposal defence and final oral defence

Entry Requirements

• A Master’s degree in business, management, or related/professional disciplines from a recognised university, preferably with adequate relevant experience in business and industry.

English Requirement (International Students):

• Minimum score of 6.0 in IELTS or equivalent
