Course Overview

The Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) is a new academic programme offered by i-CATS University College (i-CATS UC). The programme provides the graduates with current insights on the world of business, and a glimpse into the future through a structured 3-year undergraduate curriculum. This programme is a broad-based programme that places equal emphasis on all of the various disciplines in the field of business management. This aims to meet the industrial demand for capable and knowledgeable business management graduates.

The graduates also will be provided with a solid foundation in business and, upon graduation, will be trained to function in a comprehensive business environment. In line with the growing demand for high-skilled labour, the courses offered in this programme focus specifically on the concepts, theories, and essential skills related to analytical and problem-solving in all aspects of business management. The integrated and business multifunctional approaches, comprise of excellent management aspects, inculcating business culture, efficient knowledge management, and managing various managerial functions inter alia (e.g., production, marketing, finance, operational research, strategic planning, human resource management).

At the end of the programme, the graduates have learned more than just business best practises and transferrable abilities. The program’s integration of the principles of business knowledge, business skills, and management talents makes it exceptional and will guarantee that graduates are highly valued in the global workplace. The curriculum is made to be as flexible as possible, and it is critical to expose the graduates to business from a global viewpoint.

Entry Requirements

• A pass in STPM with a minimum Grade C (GP 2.0) in any 2 subjects, and a pass in Mathematics and English at SPM level, or any equivalent qualification; OR
• A pass in STAM with a minimum grade of Jayyid, and a pass in Mathematics and English at SPM level; OR
• Any qualifications equivalent to Diploma or Advanced Diploma (Level 4 or 5, MQF); OR
• Matriculation/Foundation qualification with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 out of 4.00, or any equivalent qualification. OR
• Passed SMU3/SMA/SMK/MA with a minimum average mark of 66 AND English Language Proficiency Requirement: IELTS with a score of Band 5.5; OR
• Any other equivalent qualifications recognized by the Malaysian Government.

Note: The requirement to pass Mathematics and English subjects at SPM level for candidate in category i and ii can be waived should the qualifications contain Mathematics and English subjects with equivalent/higher achievement.

International students are required to achieve a minimum score of 5.5 for IELTS OR its equivalent.
