Course Overview

The programme is designed to provide the skills and knowledge to work efficiently and effectively in their workplace by embedding in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge.

Graduates of this programme will demonstrate integrative knowledge and comprehension of key concepts, principles and practices in the field of business management, they will be able to join the workforce in an administrative capacity.

Curriculum

Programme Learning Outcome (PLO)

• PLO1: Explain the role of accounting in private and public sector organisations.
• PLO2: Identify financial and non- financial information in assisting decision making process and preparing tax computation, audit process and finance function.
• PLO3: Prepare full set of accounting, costing and management accounting for sole proprietorship, partnership and companies
• PLO4: Communicate effectively both in written and spoken with the management team and other professional bodies.
• PLO5: Understand and commit professionally,ethically and with human responsibility, in line with the accounting standards
• PLO6: Recognise the need to engage in life-long learning and in professional development.
• PLO7:Motivate and enhance managerial and entrepreneurial skills for career development.
• PLO8: Solve accounting and Finance functions individually or in teams effectively, with a capability to be a leader.

Entry Requirements

* For Diploma and Advanced Diploma, International students must score 5.0 for International English Language Test System (IELTS) or equivalent.
