Course Overview

The curriculum of the MSU Bachelor in Information Technology specialising in mobile and wireless technology will put you in the driving seat of an exciting future in this industry. The mobile and wireless technology is constantly evolving due to the rapidly changing technology, growing customer demands and the frequent introduction of new products and services. To meet the demands of the industry, you will learn a wide range of courses in the field, from mobile communication architectures to wireless technologies and services and also mobile IP architectures. Entry Requirements

  • Credit in Mathematics at SPM level; AND
  • At least a C (CGPA 2.0) in two (2) subjects at STPM level; OR
  • Jayyid in STAM; OR
  • 2.00 CGPA in Matriculation/Foundation; OR
  • 2.50 CGPA for Diploma in Computer Science / Software Engineering / Information Technology / Information Systems / other equivalents;
  • Diploma in Science and Technology or Business Studies with at least 2.50 CGPA may be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment; CGPAs below 2.50 but above 2.00 may also be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment;
  • Credit in subjects related to computing at SPM or STPM preferred;
  • UEC with at least a B in five (5) subjects including Mathematics.
