Course Overview

This diploma equips students with comprehensive culinary skills blended with restaurant operations and management. Delivered in industry-standard kitchens, the programme prepares graduates for diverse careers in the gastronomy and food service industries. Practical placements offer real-world experience, both locally and globally.

• Year Two:
  • Restaurant Operation
  • Patisserie, Bakery and Confectionary
  • International Cuisine
  • Industrial Training
• Year Three:
  • Catering System Management
  • Pastry Artistry
  • Human Resource for Service Industry

Entry Requirements

• SPM or equivalent with minimum 3 credits; OR
• SPM with minimum 1 credit and SKM Level 3; OR
• Recognised certificate in related field (Level 3, MQF); OR
• Pass certificate (Level 3, MQF) from PTPL/Polytechnic/IKM in related field; OR
• Pass UEC with at least Grade B in 3 subjects; OR
• Pass O-Level with at least Grade C in 3 subjects; OR
• Pass SKM Level 3 in related field and pass SPM with at least 1 credit; OR
• Pass certificate from Kolej Komuniti (Level 3, MQF) in related field and pass SPM with at least 1 credit; OR
• Pass STPM or equivalent with at least Grade C (CGPA 2.00) in 1 subject; OR
• Pass STAM (Maqbul level); OR
• Any other equivalent qualification recognised by the Malaysian Government.
