Course Overview

The Bachelor in Broadcasting programme prepares students for careers in electronic media and communication. Covering a broad range of topics including script writing, video production, audio editing, and directing, the curriculum is designed to equip graduates with both technical skills and creative strategies needed in the modern media industry. Students will develop content for news, entertainment, and multimedia platforms.

Entry Requirements

  • i. Passed Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) or equivalent with a minimum of Grade C (NGMP 2.00) in 2 subjects and a credit in English at SPM level or equivalent; OR
  • ii. Passed Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum of Jayyid Grade and a credit in English at SPM level or equivalent; OR
  • iii. Passed Diploma (Level 4, MQF) or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and a credit in English at SPM level or equivalent; OR
  • iv. Passed Diploma (Level 4, MQF) in Media and Communication or equivalent; OR
  • v. Passed Matriculation/Foundation or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and a credit in English at SPM level or equivalent; OR
  • vi. Passed Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with a minimum of Grade B in 5 subjects including English; OR
  • vii. Other qualifications recognized as equivalent by the Malaysian Government.

Note: The English requirement at SPM level may be waived if the prior qualification includes English with equivalent or higher achievement.

International Students: TOEFL 500 or IELTS 5.0 or equivalent
