Course Overview

The Diploma in Information System at MSU equips students with foundational computing knowledge and the latest in e-business technologies. Emphasis is placed on group-based learning, communication, leadership, and teamwork. This programme is designed to prepare graduates with skills applicable to both the business and IT industries, particularly in system support and development roles.

Entry Requirements

• i. A pass in SPM with at least credit in any 3 subjects inclusive of Mathematics or any equivalent qualification; OR
• ii. A pass in STPM with a minimum Grade C (GP 2.0) in any subject and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or equivalent; OR
• iii. A pass in STAM with a minimum grade of Maqbul (pass) and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or equivalent; OR
• iv. A pass in SKM Level 3 and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or equivalent; OR
• v. A pass in any qualifications equivalent to Certificate (Level 3, MQF) and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or equivalent.

Candidates without a credit in Mathematics at SPM level may be admitted if the Certificate programme contains equivalent mathematics subjects. Preferential consideration may be given to those with a credit in computing-related subjects at SPM level or equivalent.
