This programme encompasses the basic knowledge and practical skills of advertising, media and communication. This programme aims not only to produce advertising personnel who can apply the relevant skills in the field of advertising, but also to offer students a greater depth of knowledge and practical skills in terms of management and persuasive communication, preparing students to join a competitive and dynamic industry.
Graduates may be admitted into Year 2 of Bachelor of Communication (Honours) in Advertising.
Language, Mata Pelajaran Pengajian Umum (MPU) and Co-curricular Courses:
English for Tertiary Studies, Penghayatan Etika dan Peradaban, Integrity and Anti Corruption, Academic English, Civic Consciousness and Volunteerism OR Bahasa Kebangsaan A*(is compulsory for students without Credit in Bahasa Malaysia at SPM level.) , Professional English, *Co-curricular
*compulsory Co-Curricular Course is taken in the semesters stated in programme structure in student’s programme handbook.
(1)SPM - 3 Credits in the relevant subjects (2)O Level - 3 Grade C in the relevant subjects (3)UEC - 3 Grade B in the relevant subjects (4)Certificate - Relevant Certificate accredited by MQA OR relevant Skilled/Technical/Vocational Certificate accredited by MQA or recognised by the Malaysian Government Compulsory subject: (1), (2) and (3) must include SPM Credit/ O Level Grade C/ UEC Grade B in English Language Note: a) SPM holders must have at least a pass in Bahasa Melayu and SPM holders from Year 2013 onwards must have at least a pass in Sejarah. b) Students without a credit in SPM Bahasa Melayu are required to pass Bahasa Kebangsaan A before the award of Diploma. c) Equivalent qualifications/qualifications from other Institution of Higher Learning (IHL) will be considered on a case-by-case basis. d) Subject to the Ministry of Higher Education latest requirements. |
