This programme aims to produce competitive graduates with intellectual, creative & cognitive skills and with strong entrepreneurial spirit necessary for the growing business sector. It seeks to further enhance the knowledge and skills of students in the field of marketing.
Intake:
TAR UMT is a CIM Accredited Degree University which provides students with the opportunity to gain professional qualifications. Under this arrangement, students are given an exemption on Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL) basis for 1 out of 4 modules of the CIM Diploma in Professional & Digital Marketing. In the Third Year, students will be prepared to sit for the CIM Diploma in Professional & Digital Marketing Level 6 examinations. Upon passing the CIM examination and after gaining relevant work experience, graduates are eligible for Associate Membership of CIM. |

(1) STPM - Grade C in 2 relevant subjects (2) A Level - Grade D in 2 relevant subjects (3) UEC - Grade B in 5 relevant subjects (4) TAR UMT - Foundation in Business OR Relevant Diploma (5) Other IHL - Relevant Foundation/ Diploma accredited by MQA Compulsory subjects: (1), (2), (3) and (5) must include - i) SPM Pass/ O Level Grade E (pass) in Mathematics/ UEC Grade C in one mathematics subject ii) SPM Pass/ O Level Grade E(Pass)/ UEC Grade C in English Language Note: a) Students without a credit in SPM Bahasa Melayu are required to pass Bahasa Kebangsaan A before the award of Bachelor Degree. b) TAR UMT Diploma will be accepted on credit transfer into Bachelor Degree programmes. c) Equivalent qualifications/qualifications from other Institution of Higher Learning (IHL) will be considered on a case-by-case basis. d) Subject to the Ministry of Education latest requirements. |
