Course Overview

The Master of Education is a coursework-based programme which aims to further assist graduates to be trained in the relevant areas of education and cultivate their skills as educators of the New Academia. The Master of Education programme provides 3 areas of specialization, Technology in Education, Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) and English as a Second Language (ESL), for educators to choose from. Each specialization area with experts handling the courses will cultivate the educators' skills to guide their students of the 21st century towards outstanding achievements in their respective fields of expertise.

Entry Requirements

Minimum Entry Requirements

A Bachelor's Degree (Level 6 Malaysian Qualifications Framework, MQF) with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 or its equivalent, as accepted by the HEP Senate; or

A Bachelor's Degree (Level 6 Malaysian Qualifications Framework, MQF) or its equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and not meeting a CGPA of 2.50, can be accepted subject to a minimum of 5 years working experience in the relevant field.

English Language Requirements

1) Malaysian Students

MUET Band 3.5 or its equivalent

Exemption of English Language requirement if the medium of instruction during Bachelor studies was the English Language

2) International Students

IELTS Band 5.0 OR CEFR High B1, TOEFL iBT 40 its equivalent

Exemption of English Language requirement if the medium of instruction during Bachelor studies was the English Language
