Course Overview

The study of life science lends important insights into disease processes, and allows the development of novel therapeutics and innovative medical devices, thereby directly improving human health. Life science also enables an understanding of the environment and the other living species with whom we share the earth, this knowledge guides conservation efforts and literally helps us to save our shared planet.

Entry Requirements

Minimum Entry Requirements

A Bachelor's Degree (Level 6 MQF) with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 or equivalent grade which is approved by the Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology Senate; OR

A Bachelor's Degree (Level 6 MQF) not meeting a CGPA of 2.75 but above 2.50, can be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment which is approved by the Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology Senate; OR

A Bachelor's Degree (Level 6 MQF) with a CGPA lower than 2.50 with 5 years of relevant working experience in the field of study which is approved by the Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology Senate.

English Language Requirements

1) Malaysian Students

MUET Band 3.5 or IELTS Band 5.0 or CEFR High B1 or TOEFL iBT 40 or equivalent; OR

Exemption of English Language requirement if the medium of instruction during Bachelor studies was in English

2) International Students

IELTS Band 5.0 or CEFR High B1 or TOEFL iBT 40 or equivalent OR

Exemption of English Language requirement if the medium of instruction during Bachelor studies was in English
