Background

ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) is the global body for professional accountants. We aim to offer business-relevant, first-choice qualifications to people of application, ability and ambition around the world who seek a rewarding career in accountancy, finance and management.

• You can choose to study at a tuition provider, by distance learning or even self-study

Entry requirements

Certified Accounting Technician (CAT)
Students must have 5 SPM credits or equivalent (including English and Maths) to register for the CAT qualification.

ACCA Qualification
Entry requirements are:

• Two principal passes at STPM (grade C or above), plus 3 credits at SPM (grade C or above, in 5 separate subjects, including English and Maths) or equivalent; or
• 2 Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) subjects with grade A, PLUS 3 other subjects with grades A-C, including English and Maths; or
• a Bachelor's degree - exemptions may be gained from some papers depending on the degree; or
• a completed CAT Qualification
