The One Academy once again takes centre stage in nurturing Malaysia’s next generation of creative talents through its flagship annual event - the Malaysia Top 10 Outstanding Young Artists Awards (MT10). Now in its 28th year, the 2025 edition has returned with even greater momentum, offering a platform for secondary school students to showcase their artistic skills while earning recognition, scholarships, and nationwide exposure.
A Prestigious Art Competition Backed by Industry Icons
Widely recognised as the largest national art competition for secondary school students, MT10 continues its long-standing collaboration with The Walt Disney Company, making this year’s challenge themed around Disney-Pixar’s Elio. The partnership underscores The One Academy’s commitment to global creative standards and industry relevance.
Spanning 13 locations across 8 states, the competition reached young talents in Selangor, Penang, Malacca, Perak, Kelantan, Johor, Sabah, and Sarawak. The grand finale and prize-giving ceremony were held on 26 July 2025 at The One Academy’s main campus in Bandar Sunway, where hundreds of finalists gathered to celebrate creativity, talent, and determination.
Over RM910,000 in Scholarships and Prizes Awarded
This year’s competition saw an expanded prize pool totaling over RM910,000, bringing the cumulative value of MT10 awards over the years to RM20.8 million.
The coveted Gold Award went to Wong Ker Yang (Selangor), earning a RM90,000 scholarship and RM3,000 cash prize. Sarah Ariesya binti Khairul Anuar (Selangor) clinched the Silver Award with a RM70,000 scholarship, while Nicole Pang Yi Ning (Sarawak) received the Bronze Award and RM50,000 in scholarship.
Seven additional winners received Young Artists Awards, each walking away with RM30,000 in scholarships and RM500 cash:

- Chinta Suri Eowyn binti Zulkifli (Johor)
- Tan Iro (Johor)
- Shannon Leong Tze Kie (Sabah)
- Tam Kei Hang (Johor)
- Ooi Zi Ern (Selangor)
- Aqilah binti Zulkarnain (Sabah)
In addition, 30 Encouragement Prizes and 50 Jury’s Special Selection Prizes were awarded, further expanding opportunities for talented participants to pursue art education at The One Academy.
Honouring Creative Excellence Beyond the Classroom
Complementing the student awards, The One Academy also introduced the Malaysia Top 10 Outstanding Creative Youth Awards, a special recognition celebrating 10 accomplished alumni who have made significant contributions to the creative industry. This reinforces the academy’s philosophy: By achievers, for achievers.
Visitors and participants were treated to a Creative Art Exploration Day at the Bandar Sunway campus, an immersive experience featuring:
