Institut Teknologi Dan Pengurusan Lebuh Victoria (ITP) is a leading independent institution of higher learning located at the heart of the city of Penang. Since its inception in 1991, ITP has built a reputation for academic excellence in the field of education. It is a reputation that ITP intends to keep by enrolling able and dedicated graduates and challenging them to reach their full potentials.

ITP is ready to respond to the Government's call to make Malaysia an industrialised nation by the year 2020 by playing a significant role in educating, training, and developing a pool of strong, dynamic, and innovative graduates endowed with good IT skills to fulfill the needs of the nation.

• ITP staffs and lecturers are specifically selected to assist and guide students in their academic performance.

Programme Outline

ITP offers the following 2 years full-time programmes at Diploma level

• Electrical Engineering
• Electronic Engineering
• Electrical and Electronic Engineering
• Electronic and Computer Engineering

These programmes provide students with the opportunity to sit for City & Guilds Diploma and Advanced Diploma external examination and Engineering Council (UK) examination. ITP graduates are offered direct entry into the final year of an Honours Degree programme (BSc or Beng) at reputable universities overseas or locally.

• Well-equipped engineering labs on Analogue and digital electronics, computer diagnosis, microprocessor and microcontroller, industrial automation, robotic, PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), electrical wiring and electrical power labs

Student Support Services & Student Development Activities
Welfare and development of students are given due attention at ITP besides providing affordable courses with much excellence in quality.

• Students' Accommodation
  Staffs at ITP will assist students in their search for suitable accommodation located strategically nearby the institute.
• ITP Students' Society
  ITP Students' Society (ITPSS) is a platform to provide students with the opportunity to organise activities and functions for ITP students in order to enhance the students' leadership skills. These activities include Blood Donation Campaign; Donation and doing voluntary works at St. Joseph's Home and the educational field trips to Tropical Fruits Farm and Teluk Bahang Dam.
• Games & Sports
  ITP students are also given the privilege to enjoy various games facilities provided to act as a medium for students to release tension and practise healthy lifestyle.
• Career/ Personal Counselling
  Students are encouraged to visit ITP's course counsellor for academic, personal or career counselling sessions.
• Job placement
  ITP assists their graduates in their search of suitable jobs. This has been proven as many of their former students have become employees of various multinational companies such as Komag, Solectron, Intel Technolgy & etc right after graduating.

Outline of Scholarships / Financial Aids
Scholarships are offered to excellent students as an encouragement as well as to enhance the students' potential. Students with the minimum of 9 A's in SPM will be fully sponsored. On the other hand, 50% of tuition fees is waived for students who achieved 5 A's and above in their SPM. Students who wish to obtain study loans can approach the several financial institutions with assistance from ITP's staffs.

Recognition &Achievement
In recognition of their educational excellence and quality achievement, ITP was awarded the City & Guilds International Special Award. ITP has constantly earned good reputation in producing award-winning achievers. Since its inception in 1991, 13 students were awarded 10 silver medals and 3 bronze medals in City & Guilds International examinations. This was indeed a tremendous achievement for the institute bearing the fact that the City & Guilds awards are coveted by students all over the world.
